This tweet is not new BUT it's making it's way around the web this morning...
EA World Premiere at E3 coming live to Spike TV on June 9, 1 hour press conference with six new game reveals as part of our E3 All Access.--Geoff Keighley
Hmmm...maybe a misprint?? SIX new games sounds like a lot. Other than Battlefront and the Battlefield swat team game rumor...what other NEW IP's is EA working on?? Here's more...
..." CEO Andrew Wilson said that the event will feature "never-before-seen content from EA’s upcoming games as well as sneak peeks at new projects and intellectual properties currently in development."
"EA is confident that one of these games will be a major contender towards the end of the year. "If you don't have a Battlefield in a year, you've got a hole there that you have to fill," it said.
"The way we're filling that hole is essentially new titles along the lines of FIFA: World Cup, UFC, a golf game, The Sims and Dragon Age. I would say that fills about two-thirds of the hole and the rest of the hole we would assume is being filled by this new, unannounced game.”
"We're highly conscious of the crowded slate in the back half of the year. What that means is it's gotta do great and it's got to do really well, particularly on the new generation. The box is going to have to be unique. I think you'll see all of that at E3 when you get a chance to see the game.”
"The highly-anticipated Star Wars Battlefront will also be shown during the conference. EA added that it has multiple teams working on new properties and concepts, producing multiple protoypes every week. Need for Speed, however, will be taking the year off.
