DICE has introduced "new higher-performance servers" in a bid to tackle Battlefield 4's ongoing rubber-banding issues.
A post on the Battlefield blog claims that the issue, which worsened following the launch of the Naval Strike DLC and see players randomly teleport around the map due to connectivity issues, should hopefully be resolved.

I've lost a lot of faith in DICE over the last few years. I know people want to blame EA for a lot of the games issues for "rushing" it to market, but the game is STILL broken in many aspects 5+ months after launch. Dice may be good with graphics and frostbite engine, but their netcode and behind the scenes stuff is pretty damn terrible for an online-centered game.
Say what you want about COD games (i don't like them much), but their online is usually pretty solid right from the get-go at launch.

Played this a few days ago and it's definitely a lot better. Only played Vanilla maps which I hate. I'm only playing Naval Strike from now on.
