Facebook is buying Oculus VR for $2 Billion
I don't know what to think of this. All I can say is that I don't play games on Facebook and I don't appreciate it when all my friends spam me with Facebook game invites. EDIT: I do know what I think of this... A $200 peripheral doesn't gel with a FREE social network website. This is a lucrative but ultimately sad, dead end for Oculus.

This could be like the old man that buys a sailboat after never sailing before, spends all his life savings on it...fixes it up, etc., puts it out on the water, and runs aground on a sandbar that very same day. I don't know what to think of this either. Are we going to use Oculus to look at facebook photos? Online Facebook videogames? For 2 billion dollars it looks like Facebook could have done something similar for far less money. Who knows. Facebook porn I guess
