I think i might actually pick Thief up for the X1 on friday when the 50% off goes live. Not really very excited about the game, but for 30, i can justify it i think. After beating Tomb Raider (twice, the second time with 100% on X1) i'm in need of a single player fix.

If you haven't picked up Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, or haven't played it on any console... Do yourself a favor and pick it up. It is one of the best games i've played in a long time.

I might have to jump in on Thief and TR...I am guessing $29.99 for each. Tough to pass up. This Steam style that Microsoft is doing is pretty sweet. I bet this drives consoles too. Think if someone is sitting on the sidelines, sees these two deals, and buys a console to snatch up these deals. Granted maybe only 1,000 people if that do that (wild guess), but this will drive the Xbox brand, consoles, excitement, etc. (Sony might do something similar to this, not sure...don't follow Sony marketplace, but I like that Microsoft is). Look forward to some holiday deals/daily deals the way they did recently over I think a weeks time for 360 content. Good stuff! Honestly I would rather have these blockbuster deals than Games with Gold, but I know I won't win that argument aka Microsoft would get crucified in the gaming press for such a move. Just my 2 cents and IMHO.
