Guys, anyone remembers awesome looking last gen games from Ubisoft? I dont...
GRAW Future Soldier looked horrible and its not an open world.
That happens when you have too many platforms for the game.

PC becomes the leading platform because you can just set graphic settings higher provided you have good hardware.

GTA5(360) looks better to me than blackflag(XBO)

In the comments, a commenter named Grummy says the following:

Basically, during development they build simple checklists into the code so they can turn features on and off as they need to for testing purposes. The trailers were made off site and the people who made them received code that didn't have all the features turned on. They're not true representations.

Want an idea of what the finished quality will be like? Look at AC IV they'll be comparable to that.

So maybe we have an explanation and the gifs and videos aren't representative of what we'll see.
