Meanwhile some folks have taken some efforts to compare actual scenes from a trailer with footage that was shown at E3 2012. In their opinion Watch Dogs is downgraded a lot. They have created a GIF to give you an impression of the downgrade. Please make your own opinion but take this all with a grain of salt because we don't know if the GIF was manipulated. First part is from an actual trailer, second part (Mercedes) is from E3 2012 reveal. Enjoy!
The Story trailer of Watch_Dogs has been leaked, and it includes the release date for the game: May 27th. The trailer was leaked on the Xbox 360 preview dashboard and discovered by NeoGAF user ekim. Considering the source, it possibly features the old generation version of the game, but we can’t be sure about that.
Ubisoft teased a “big announcement” coming today at Noon EST on its official Facebook page, so we might still get to see more then. In the meanwhile, you can check the trailer out just below.

This honestly looks worse than Need For Speed Underground. I had so much hope for this game. No longer. Not worth the money I planned to spend on it. There is a rumor on N4G somewhere, according to xanequinbox who is a member of the MisterX blog, that this is the 360/PS3 version and the nextgen versions will be showed tomorrow. Remains to be seen. However, on Twitter, PS4 Denmark (which I have no clue if that is an official tag), says it was most definitely the PS4 version. twitter.com/PlayStationDK/statuses/441593208125288448So, who knows.  This shit pisses me, along with most every gamer off. We see the gif here on this thread that SHOWS the downgrade. And this person, I won't personally attack her out of respect, is trying to say that the hamburger we were promised is the same thing as a tofu burger. THE SAME THING. Just, looks different. Un-fucking-acceptable. You promised us Watch_Dogs at e3 2013 the way it was. You were getting ready to release it and then suddenly it was delayed. THEN, you delay it for 6 months and show a MASSIVE downgrade in looks. Some of the HUD is missing. We know the gameplay somewhat. We are not criticizing the gameplay. The gameplay would be pretty great and be all we'd be talking about IF YOU DID NOT OVER PROMISE ON THE FUCKING GRAPHICS. You. Lied. End of discussion. Or, you downgraded the entire experience over a console war. I'm inclined to not think that was the case, but these days politics have infiltrated gaming. Jesus H Mary and Joseph. Mods, I'm asking you don't make me clean this post up because it shouldn't be after this bullshit. Not over this. This was a needed rant. This is not acceptable. You DO NOT show something as is, get ready to release, delay unexpectadly, and 6 months later downgrade from what you were getting ready to release and pretend it was just a change of vision for the game. What you SHOW AT E3 GAMEPLAY WISE SHOULD BE WHAT WE GET. That demo on the PS4 should be what was expected because at that point, IT WAS SHOWN TO BE WORKING ON HARDWARE. Maybe that was a lie. If it was, shame on you further. Pre-Order Cancelled in t-minus 35 seconds after post. You over promised, but you promised. You failed to deliver. You lied to us. There is another article about Watch Dogs on eurogamer.net. In this article there is new daylight gameplay which is about 15 mins. long. Judging from the video it's hard to tell how big the downgrade is because in the previews they always used evening or night gameplays. One thing can said, driving the city and the streets and the cars are not looking as good as in the previews we have seen. But the other gameplay doesn't look that bad.
