So the first March update is out now. Here is a quick list of the new features/modifications:
• Get to your friends list faster
• Party chat on by default
• Chat with friends playing different games.
• “Invite friends to game” option available in your multiplayer titles.
• See a list of “Recent Players.”
• Twitch live streaming support.
• Dolby Digital sound for Optical out.
• We will now support 50Hz output to Xbox One.
Sounds like there will be other updates in March that contain (but not limited to) the following things:
• Volume up/down adjustments.
• New ways to stay connected with SmartGlass.
• Support for new Xbox One accessories.
• Browser improvements.
• IR blasting of power and volume to TVs/AVRs is now available in all regions.
• Easy sound bar setup.
• Ability to view Game Clips while in Snap mode.
• New passkey feature to protect user settings.
